CONVENTIONS
Things are slowly getting back to normal, some our personal favorites.
Remember conventions?! We do, and we’re bringing ours back to you in 2021!
Get ready for the *return* of Retro Con, scheduled for September 25th & 26th at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA! Over 225 vendor tables of retro and retro-inspired collectibles on sale, including such toyline favorites as Transformers, GI Joe, Masters of the Universe, TMNT, ThunderCats, Star Wars, and MASK. You can also expect to find such memorabilia as video games, comic books, lunchboxes, diecast cars, dolls/plush, custom 2D/3D art, board games, and much more. If you’ve got the collector bug, our eclectic group of vendors are bound to have something for you!
Retro Con is more than just a toy show though! We also feature special guests, panels, contests, raffles, costumes, tv/movie cars and props, and video games. If retro geek stuff is your thing, we’re the perfect hangout for the day or weekend- all at an affordable price. Come for the toys… stay for the atmosphere!

First off we’d like to say we hope everyone is well and that you’re staying safe. Although we’ve been slow on updates due to work commitments, we are constantly working on ideas for the event.
We are now planning SWAG BAGS for our pre-registered fans, which will include coupons, Sherlock buttons/pins, a special lanyard, and a special print. For those interested in adding something extra to these swag bags, feel free to contact us at skids1985@comcast.net
A Game Of Murder… We’ll be posting a new convention game shortly, one which requires a sign-up sheet since there’s limited spacing. This game will also offer something extra special for each player, a custom keepsake to take home.
We are also working on a Trivia Contest with lots of prizes, a T-Shirt Contest, and a Tea Party! Again always working on something new!
We’re adding something extra special for our fanfiction contest! Many have asked that we do not share their stories with Hartswood Films, that they would like to keep their stories more private. So instead, we will be offering a signed script. More details soon!

Before the convention questions, I share a surreal moment, stepping through the doors of Hartswood Films! I was given a warm welcome during my visit and got to see the Sherlock room… Yes, there’s a room dedicated to Sherlock!

Sharing our love for an Amazing Show and Fandom will be a huge part of what we’ll be doing, at the Keystone Comic Con next month! We’ll be handing out flyers, like the one’s you see above! Sharing links to our favorite: cosplay, artist, fan-fiction writers and fan groups!
For those fans attending the Keystone Comic Con, stop by and see us, and receive free Sherlock Swag! Like these coloring pages below! We’ll also have free ribbons, and a little something extra, for those fans that come in costume!
We’re setting up a Sherlock 50/50 raffle, and we’ll have a Sherlock Charity Basket set up, which will include a Benedict Cumberbatch autograph and a Sherlock script! More details on both contests soon! All the money raised will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and to Cat Angel Network!

I had a very busy weekend as always, so not much new today.. I would love your feedback on the new layout though, and remind fans that the latest Benedict Cumberbatch Contest nears it’s end! I’m constantly working on the site and adding more goodies! I’ve had a lot of artist contact me recently about sharing their art, some brilliant cosplay shared, and some amazing stories shared!
